Universitas Lampung mengelola pergerakan armada kendaraan bermotor secara ketat guna meminimalkan penumpukan emisi karbon di area inti akademik. Berdasarkan basis data pemantauan pintu gerbang, universitas mencatatkan kepemilikan 100 unit mobil operasional dinas, serta mencatat rata-rata harian masuk sebanyak 1.332 unit mobil pribadi dan 2.962 unit sepeda motor. Dibandingkan terhadap total populasi civitas akademika yang mencapai 50.273 jiwa, rasio akhir kendaraan beremisi Unila berada pada angka efisiensi yang sangat baik yaitu sebesar 0,087.
The University of Lampung strictly manages the movement of motor vehicles to minimize carbon emission accumulation within the core academic zones. Based on gate monitoring database logs, the university records 100 units of institutional operational cars, alongside a daily entering average of 1,332 private cars and 2,962 motorcycles. Evaluated against a total active campus population of 50,273 individuals, Unila’s final combustion-engine vehicle ratio stands at a highly efficient index of 0.087.

Penyediaan sarana transportasi massal internal di Universitas Lampung diwujudkan lewat pengoperasian layanan bus kampus reguler yang dapat diakses secara cuma-cuma oleh seluruh mahasiswa dan staf kependidikan. Armada aktif saat ini terdiri atas 7 unit bus besar yang beroperasi secara terjadwal setiap hari kerja (Senin hingga Jumat) dari pukul 07:00 hingga 17:00 WIB. Jalur lintasan bus ini mencakup 20 titik selter perhentian strategis yang mengitari seluruh area fakultas untuk memfasilitasi kelancaran mobilitas harian tanpa perlu membawa kendaraan pribadi ke dalam klaster ruang kelas.
The provision of internal mass transit at the University of Lampung is realized through the operation of regular campus shuttle bus services accessible free of charge for all students and staff. The active fleet currently consists of 7 large buses operating on a scheduled basis every weekday (Monday to Friday) from 07:00 to 17:00 WIB. The shuttle route covers 20 strategic transit stops encircling all faculty areas to facilitate smooth daily mobility without the need to drive private vehicles into classroom clusters.

Universitas Lampung secara aktif menyediakan, memelihara, dan memfasilitasi penggunaan ragam armada Kendaraan Bebas Emisi (ZEV) tanpa biaya untuk mendukung penuh realisasi pergerakan hijau berkelanjutan. Sarana transportasi rendah karbon yang disiagakan meliputi pengadaan 108 unit sepeda kayuh konvensional serta 10 unit sepeda listrik pintar (e-bike) yang ditempatkan secara strategis pada stasiun peminjaman utama di lingkungan gedung Rektorat dan klaster pelataran gedung FISIP.
The University of Lampung actively provides, maintains, and facilitates the free use of various Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) fleets to fully support the realization of sustainable green mobility. Low-carbon transportation options deployed include the procurement of 108 conventional bicycles and 10 smart electric bicycles (e-bikes) strategically stationed at main rental hubs near the Rectorate building and the FISIP building courtyard clusters.

Aksesibilitas sirkulasi dan pemanfaatan ZEV dioptimalkan secara digital lewat integrasi sistem “Unibike” berbasis aplikasi mobile guna mempermudah manajemen pelacakan posisi dan peminjaman sepeda secara mandiri bagi para mahasiswa. Pada aspek riset rekayasa keteknikan, Unila juga meluncurkan karya inovasi berupa mobil listrik “E.V. U.1” yang dikembangkan secara mandiri memanfaatkan material bodi berbasis serat alam lokal, memperkuat komitmen perluasan riset kendaraan listrik rendah emisi global.
ZEV circulation accessibility and utilization are digitally optimized through the integration of the app-based “Unibike” mobile system to facilitate independent bicycle booking and real-time tracking for students. On the engineering research front, Unila has launched an innovative electric vehicle named “E.V. U.1”, independently developed utilizing local natural fiber-based body composites, strengthening the commitment to expanding global low-emission electric vehicle research.

Melalui implementasi kebijakan penataan tata guna lahan yang berorientasi lingkungan, Universitas Lampung berhasil mengendalikan perluasan area perkerasan semen untuk parkir terbuka. Langkah taktis ini diwujudkan dengan mereduksi total luasan kavling parkir permukaan dari posisi awal semen seluas 46.270 meter persegi menjadi hanya 34.592 meter persegi. Dibandingkan terhadap total luas tapak lahan kampus utama Unila sebesar 849.329 meter persegi, rasio area parkir tanah saat ini terkunci pada angka minimal yaitu hanya 4,07%.
Through the implementation of eco-oriented land-use masterplanning, the University of Lampung has successfully curbed the expansion of concrete surfaces for open lot parking. This tactical step was achieved by reducing the total ground-level parking lot allocation from an initial 46,270 square meters to just 34,592 square meters. Measured against Unila’s total main campus land layout of 849,329 square meters, the current parking footprint ratio is locked at a minimal 4.07%.

Dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun terakhir, Universitas Lampung secara berkesinambungan menjalankan program elimination lahan parkir permukaan terbuka di zona inti akademik. Aksi nyata dijalankan dengan menutup fungsi area parkir aspal di depan Gedung Serba Guna (GSG) serta beralih fungsi menutup klaster pelataran Graha Mahasiswa, untuk kemudian diubah kembali (revitalisasi) menjadi kawasan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) produktif. Inovasi struktural vertikal juga diterapkan lewat pengalihan penumpukan kendaraan ke zonasi Parkir Terpadu periferi serta pembukaan lahan parkir bawah tanah (basement) pada Gedung Smart Building Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis.
Over the past three years, the University of Lampung has continuously executed open-surface parking lot elimination programs within the core academic zones. Concrete steps were taken by shutting down asphalt parking lots in front of the Multipurpose Building (GSG) and closing the Graha Mahasiswa courtyard cluster, subsequently reverting them into productive Green Open Spaces (RTH). Vertical structural innovation was also applied by shifting vehicle load to peripheral Integrated Parking zones and implementing underground parking lots (basements) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Smart Building.

Initiatives to Decrease Private Vehicles on Campus
Guna menekan tingginya mobilitas harian kendaraan pribadi berbahan bakar fosil, Unila menerapkan lebih dari 3 inisiatif pengendalian berkendara secara simultan. Kebijakan ini meliputi integrasi sistem gerbang otomatis (Automatic Gate) berbasis teknologi pemindaian kartu RFID untuk membatasi akses masuk hanya bagi civitas terdaftar, pemberlakuan regulasi Kebijakan Sistem Satu Arah (One-way system) internal untuk mengurai potensi titik kemacetan pemicu emisi gas buang, serta penyelenggaraan hari bebas kendaraan bermotor (Car-free day) dan kampanye bersepeda sehat Fun Bike secara periodik.
To curb the high volume of private fossil-fuel vehicle mobility, Unila deploys more than 3 simultaneous vehicle control initiatives. These initiatives include the integration of an Automatic Gate system driven by RFID scanning technology to restrict entry only to registered personnel, the enforcement of an internal One-Way System to dismantle potential congestion hotbeds that trigger exhaust emissions, and the periodic scheduling of motorized Car-Free Days alongside healthy Fun Bike cycling campaigns.

Unila telah membangun prasarana jaringan pedestrian terintegrasi sepanjang 3.445 meter yang dirancang secara komprehensif mengutamakan aspek keselamatan, keteduhan, dan kenyamanan berjalan kaki. Jalur pedestrian ini dilengkapi dengan elemen inklusif ramah disabilitas fisik berupa pemasangan ubin ubin blok pemandu khusus (guiding blocks) serta pembuatan rampa kelandaian yang aman. Infrastruktur ini juga ditunjang sistem pencahayaan mandiri hemat energi bertenaga surya (Solar Powered Street Lights) serta dipisahkan secara tegas oleh pembatas fisik permanen dari jalur lintas sirkulasi kendaraan bermotor untuk menjamin keamanan penuh pejalan kaki. Seluruh implementasi tata kelola hijau ini secara kolektif berkontribusi mendukung pencapaian 11 target poin SDGs global.
Unila has constructed 3,445 meters of integrated pedestrian networks comprehensively designed to prioritize walking safety, shading, and convenience. These pedestrian paths are equipped with inclusive disability-friendly features such as tactile guiding blocks and safe, low-slope wheelchair ramps. The infrastructure is further supported by energy-saving Solar Powered Street Lights and is strictly isolated by permanent physical barriers from motorized traffic lanes to ensure full pedestrian safety. This entire green layout collectively contributes to supporting the achievement of 11 global SDG target points.
